WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO EXAMINE THIS SUBJECT?
It is necessary because a few “Christian” religions, have instilled fear in the hearts of our born-again brothers, and have created doubts about the promises of the biblical gospel, through sermons which proclaim that they can lose their salvation.
The Bible is the written word of God, and it is impossible to contradict itself. It cannot provide us with scriptures which tell us that those who believe in the True Jesus of the Bible will not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16), and, at the same time, to provide us with other scriptures which tell us that they can be lost! It is impossible for the biblical truth to have different ‘faces’, or, as some say, to have different levels, which contradict themselves and cause heresies! The biblical truth is One as its Author is One; and He is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).
